the end of my beloved calendar
Welp. Our calendar had a really great run. I'm sad to say, there won't be a 2025 calendar.
I designed our annual calendar way back in 2016 after searching for years for the perfect wall calendar. I finally took it upon myself to design one. I'm very particular when it comes to calendars. My must-haves include: at a glance look for three months ahead, current month, previous month, space to write notes, numbers I can quickly see & recognize holidays fast. I designed it to include all of that and more. Like vintage calendars I included phases of the moon, astrological signs & birthstones for each month. I wasn't sure they'd sell the first year. Much to my surprise, we sold out before December. It was just as popular the next year and even the following. However, starting in 2019, sales of the calendar started declining. That and the rising costs of paper and printing don't make it a viable project anymore. I'll be honest, I'm disappointed. I really loved this project and am not sure what we'll be using at the shop, in the office and at home. Many customers have reached out to let me know they wanted their 2025 calendar. I hate to disappoint you all and I really appreciate all the support through the years, I'm sorry we couldn't keep it going. I don't want to say I'll never have another calendar again, but for now, 2025 will not have a calendar. I got a little lump in my throat when I turned to December in our print shop this month. I guess it's like saying good bye to a trusty friend. Thanks Clip Calendar, you've served me well and I'll always be partial to our very first teal clip that reminded me daily, no matter what, it's OK.
