Hey stationery lovers! As most of you know, I took part of the first Chicago Stationery Fest, March 22nd + 23rd. It was a really beautifully curated event with lots of my paper friends. I was so swamped on Saturday, I didn't get a chance to leave my booth. Sunday, I took advantage of the smaller crowd to do some shopping. It was so much fun! While I love everything I got, I do have some FOMO. I keep seeing other attendees and vendor purchase pics and wondering "how in the hell did i miss THAT?!". Regardless check out all my cute stuff!
First up, my pal and letterpress rock star, Starshaped Press. Jen designed the Chicago Stationery Fest guide using her extensive type and ornament catalog. She even had the form at the show so people could see what goes in to her creations. I had to have the stationery fest limited edition print.
Next up Madhouse Crafting Co., I was immediately smitten with this pencil pouch and Chicago inspired washi tape. My first visit I picked up the pencil hair claw and questioned if I was a hair claw-type person. I shopped upstairs, came back downstairs, worked my booth for a half hour then realized I NEED a pencil hair claw. I went back and bought the last one! It was meant to be.
Sticker sheets, Chicago pens and Chicago stickers by
Calliope Paperie. It was fun to meet KB in person. I've been a part of her
International Stationery Store Day since the beginning. I've also been chatting with her online for years. I loved seeing all the Chicago goods KB created just for the show. So fun!
Ilootpaperie is the sweetest set of sisters, ever. I was so happy to meet them and shop their goods, I've been a fan for a while. I couldn't resist this forever, pigeon stamp tote! And the pencil washi. So stinking cute! The print was a gift for spending so much. Like I said, they are the sweetest set of sisters!
Next up
Paper + Craft Pantry. I'm a big fan of Pei, the owner. She has a great sense of humor and is always willing to share info with fellow business owners. Her shop looks huge and amazing and her newsletter is a treat every week. Plus she makes really cute stuff (see above pic). Turns out when you make a mail truck hair claw, there is no doubt in my mind if I'm a hair claw-type person or not. I had to have it. Along with the adorable mail truck clip and I'm happy to say I bought the last pencil clip. So cute! Pei also gifted me these stickers made exclusively for the event. So generous.

I was really excited to see
Kimberly AH at Stationery Fest. Kimberly is a snail mail enthusiast and hosts
Dive Bar Letter Writing events monthly. She's also a customer of ours. I've never gotten to see or shop
Galaxie Safari (her biz). It was such a treat! Each card is lovingly made with vintage stamps and typed on a typewriter (I know. Perfect!). She also lines all her envelopes for an extra special touch.
You know, I love me some letterpress. I couldn't resist these super sweet cards by
Kwohtations. And look at those cute Chicago Stationery Fest exclusive stickers, I don't know how anyone could walk by without purchasing them. I was like a moth to the flame. I enjoyed meeting Janine, she was as sweet as her cards.
SRM Prints is a fellow print maker located in Rockford. I've been a fan of Sarah's for a bit. I HAD to have her super cute office supply letterpress printed notebook! She was so kind and gifted me the print. I adore it and her.
Penelope's Press is another letterpress artist who specializes in custom goods. She had Chicago hand drawn note cards that I couldn't resist. Are you sensing a theme to my shopping... letterpress... Chicago... either one, I'm in!
Tiny Werewolves was my booth neighbor. I'm always in the market for bookmarks, this one will be my first magnetic one, and again... Chicago. Excited to test it out. And, well, stickers, apparently one can never have enough stickers.
Lastly, Paper + Pencil, the organizers of the event. CSF stickers, letterpress jotter with Starshaped Press's design, CSF postcard and Paper + Pencil clic pen.
As you can tell, I had a lot of fun shopping! And I had even more fun vending. Be sure to follow Chicago Stationery Fest for the latest updates.
